Jets and Steelers Catch-up at Heinz Field
Share & Comment
Following their dismantling of the Patriots, the Jets look forward to Sunday night's AFC title game in the Steel City. New York and Pittsburgh battled Week 15 of the regular season with the Jets soaring out of Heinz Field with a 22-17 victory. In Week 15, the Steelers played without their defensive extraordinaire Troy Polamalu, who sat out the game in order to rest his sore Achilles.
During their regular season meeting, Gang Green was outgained by Pittsburgh 146-106 on the ground. New York held claim as the only team to eclipse 100 yards against the Steelers in the 2010-2011 season. The Green and White will aim to rev up their ground and pound as they’re pitted against the top rushing defense in the NFL.
