Jets send DL Sheldon Richardson to Seahawks for WR Jermaine Kearse and 2018 second round pick

Earlier this week the Seattle Seahawks placed Jermaine Kearse on the trading block and it seems they've found a suitor in the New York Jets. Gang Green will be sending troubled but talented defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson to Seattle in exchange for the 27-year old veteran and 2018 second rounder.

Richardson was the 2013 Defensive Rookie of the Year, but off the field issues have plagued him throughout his time in New York.

Kearse is entering tallied 41 catches for 510 yards last season with only one touchdown, but the Jets are desperate for playmakers at wide receiver. Seattle and New York will also swap seventh round picks in the 2018 NFL draft.
